Technology Outage Notification: Some Inbound Email Delayed : RESOLVED

Resolved:

All delayed email has been processed.

It was determined around noon that one of the three Medical Center inbound email gateways was not processing email coming in from the internet.  The delayed messages are currently being processed.

Technology Outage Resolved: Telephones

The off-campus calling problem has been resolved.

Technology Outage Update: Telephones

AT&T has discovered that our off-campus calling problem is due to an equipment failure in the central office that routes our inbound and outbound campus calls. They are working on the problem and hope to have it resolved within the next 30 minutes.

An update will be posted as soon as the issue is resolved.

We are currently experiencing a problem with both inbound and outbound calls to the campus. On-campus calls are functioning correctly. We have opened a critical ticket with AT&T and they are working quickly to resolve the problem.

We will update the blog when the problem is resolved.

Description: We are currently experiencing a campus wide telephone outage. The backup phone system is in use.  Information Resources is aware of the issue and is currently working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
